Reliability assessing of the fiber optic packaging process

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the reliability of processes at the packaging center in the company CommScope Czech Republic s.r.o. The first part of the work is research about options for quality management using ISO 9000 standards, but also TQM approaches. At the same time, methods and analytical techniques are discussed, which will be further used in the practical part of this thesis. The following section introduces CommScope Inc. and its main product - optical fiber. The practical part contains an introduction to the packaging center and its processes, it also describes the analysis of the reliability of the original state and proposals for corrective measures that were designed within the Kaizen event. The rest of the work is then devoted to the implementation of the proposed changes and their economic assessment. Finally, an evaluation of the methods used, the results achieved and other recommendations are given.

The Use of Pareto Analysis in Streamlining Sales

The diploma thesis focuses on streamlining sales of choosen retail using Pareto analysis. Theoretical part specifies using Pareto analysis in academic thesis and mentions example of its application. The merit of this thesis is an invention of a methodology that could be used for evaluation of the assortment. This methodology helps to identify the most profitable goods which are sold in the highest numbers and thus bring the highest profit to the retail. On base of performed analysis is presented suggestion of streamlining assortment.

This diploma thesis deals with the employment of the Pareto principle in increasing the efficiency of the product range in a selected grocery outlet of the Brněnka chain. A methodology for the evalution of the offered product range has been created based on general knowledge and practical usage of the Pareto principle in scientific work. The methodology is applied on sale records of a selected store. The work includes suggestions of product range alteration based on application of the formed methodology.

This master thesis concentrates on the stock level management in the business company. With the help of ABC, XYZ analysis and the calculation of the optimal deliveries gives the possible instruction how to reach the right stock level for the chosen company. Also gives the possible method how to prevent the main problems in this area, which represent the overstock or understock and so the inability to satisfy the customer.

This bachelor thesis "Analysis of Warehouse Inventory in the Company Dendera a.s." is focused on supplies of the company, especially on their composition and quantity. This thesis contains the theoretical bases of the supplies, their models and mainly the ABC method.The chosen company is presented in the practical part of the thesis and its storage supplies are analysed on the basis of the theoretical findings, with the ABC method and the creation of the model of supplies with the help of the Maple system.
